FWD dyno tuning?

im an considering purchasing a gtir..but the thing is my mechanic doesnt have a awd dyno...he has a rwd/fwd one....is it possible to disconnect the tailshaft..and dyno it on fwd? will it damage anything? or is there another way of doing it without the use of a awd dyno...

NO. The car is a constant 4wd using a viscous LSD in the centre. Your suggestion will destory the viscous.
