No history of that one in the club unfortunately.

 

Hard to tell much from those terrible photos, but the description sounds ok.

 

Shame about the colour coding.

 

Rusty arches in examples that have lived a while in salty air are indeed common, and can sometimes be the tip of the iceberg (examples of shell cancer have been becomming more common in the last few years).

 

Dead fuel gauge often suggests faulty in-tank sender. They are around $450 new from Nissan, but you shouldn't have trouble sourcing a working used one for significantly less.
