I had big plans for the car, however, work commitments have forced my hand and I no longer have the time to enjoy it anymore. It has consequently laid dormant and is now looking for another owner. Modlist: Garrett GT2871r .86 rear s15 comp cover Earls braided line kit Xtreme 6 Puck Clutch Hybrid fmic kit AM performance split front dump pipe front pipe- custom 3 inch cat back Walbro 255ltr 500hp intank fuel pump Crane Cams fireball LX91 ignition coil 8.8mm spitfire leads HDI-SBC-D-EVOLUTION boost controller and guage z32 afm 560cc injectors D2 Coilovers OZ Racing Rally Rims There are a couple of gremlins that need to be addressed, these include: - Power steering belt needs replacing (it is very noisy when you first start the car); - There is an electrical fault that drains the battery quickly; - The boost controller has developed an issue where it turns off on sharp bends and over big bumps (I would put this down to a loose connections due to the car sitting around for some time, for good measure, I have a spare boost tap and gauge which I will include in the sale); - It could also go for a good service and a good detail. EDIT: Electrical faults now fixed... As I suspected, it was a dodgy earth... It's getting really tempting to keep it, buy a shitter and go H.A.M on it Other than that, the car itself is in relatively good condition, it is straight and drives straight and has very low mileage for a car of it's age.   3. Rego: 1EY5SR VIN: RNN14-003083 Extremely rare and unique GTI-R in trademark Ivory White with a GENUINE 70,000kms. This car has been my absolute baby for about a year now and has NEVER skipped a beat. I never thought I would find reliability, performance, and fun in such a unique car. The soul and character of the car cannot be matched and understood simply. As a true car enthusiast, this is the best car I've owned which ticks all the boxes. To this day it still remains Nissan's only Group A homologation rally car which dominated Group N at the time. I am selling up regretfully because I am going back to study and cannot justify adding kms daily to this excellent example. I also cannot bring myself to modify this as a project car due to its condition, so I'm hoping it will go to a lucky someone who can appreciate the car for what it is, as I will miss it dearly. Never have I seen in person another GTI-R in the same or better condition, and the prices for these are only going up with its rarity. Hard to believe that when I check the intercooler every spark plug change I find no oil blow by, showing how good of a condition the engine is in. The quirky features adds so much character to the car itself and also makes it very interesting to own. It comes with the legendary FACTORY UMBRELLA in the door in basically perfect condition. Also comes with the blanking plates for the bonnet vents that I keep on for 99% of the time. Both of these items are worth a lot as they are discontinued and rare. In the glove box you'll also find the original owners manuals. Electric factory sunroof is fully functional too with no leaks whatsoever. For those who don't know, this is a very special SR20DET engine equipped with individual throttle bodies (ITBs), sodium filled exhaust valves, bigger crankshaft bearings, and the best flowing T28 turbo from factory. Arguably the best SR20 ever made, equipped with the mechanical all wheel drive ATTESSA drivetrain in a light weight 1220kg chassis. Its a regrettable sale, but with the starting of a business and my toolbox having been stolen, i just don't have the time and funds to keep this car going. The car is pretty standard, with only a few minor mods. The engine was reconditioned by the previous owner, and since owning the car the only things I've had to replace are some heater hoses, the starter motor, and the exhaust (which was more of an excuse to upgrade when the cat blew). There are also have a bunch of spares that come with the car, such as a rear drive shaft, the original rims, the complete AC system (removed by the previous owner to reduce the cars weight), a passenger seat, and a few other little bits and bobs. The car currently does not have any rego, and would need a blue slip as well as its been on the road for about six months, however the engine has been routinely turned over to make sure she still runs alright. It was done for a love of the car and for the pleasure and pride of seeing a potential wrecked shell put back onto the road. Full rebuild front to rear, inside and out. Runs great, lots of new parts while engine was out, including new oil pump, and new clutch, which feels like a new car. Very mild exhaust, new front rotors and pads, new rear pads, new paint, lots more. Bought her back on the 6th of december last year and since then have spend a few dollers on maintance such as a new cometic headgasket and a retune as well as replace many top end seals and gasket like injector o-rings. Also in terms of modifications there has not been anything i have added to the car other then just maintance. Sunroof does not leak anymore after adjusting the seal so it is fully fuctional. New tyres all around. The describtion i used on my carsales ad. If any information is incorrect please dont heasitate to correct me. Have been told bottom end is forged but i have no proof. However I am confident that it is with Arias forged pistons, Eagle Forged rods and a standard crank. Top end i know is Port and polished head, Tomei 264 11mm cams, Tomei adjustable cam gears, Tomei Rocker stoppers, Tomei Double valve springs. Also has a genuine Tomei 50psi fuel pressure regulator with Standard 444cc injectors and standard exhaust manifold. Garrett GT2876R .86 rear housing with boost coming on strong around 4200rpm. With a 3inch down pipe to 2.5 exhaust back. The quad throttle bodies system has been deleted and sealed up to make a single throttle body with top hat by a previous owner. Ems stinger V4424 ecu. BC gold coilovers with no knocks or leaks. Front mount. Button clutch, i suspect Exedy button clutch. Aftermarket BOV so you can whistle at the ladies. Battery relocation to the boot with a deep cycle dry cell sealed battery. (10 months old still under warrentity) 1kg fire extinguisher and emergency battery isolator in the glove box to cut power. Bought the car in December to find weeks later it was in need of a tune. A service was done by JEM Ingleburn on the 5/2/15 and a re tune plus anything that needed attention. Head gasket wasn't sealing on high boost. A Cometic Head gasket installed and ARP head studs on the 26/3/15 and re tune by Scotty at insight motorsports Makes a healthy 213atkw at 17psi. and 195atw at 13psi. Will also come with a high mount manifold, rocker cover gasket set and a GT3076 turbo from slide industries. Mechanical i can no complain about the car, doesnt over heat or resist/hesitate on a good spirted drive or those quick sprints. Cons: Doesnt cold start by itself, needs helping idleing till warm and paint in average condition as you would expect form an 10 year old paint job. Someone has jacked the car up on the passager side in the middle of the bending the rail. The 6*9 speakers in the rear parcel shelve do not work and no spare tyre but easily fixable. This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make as some of you are aware how much time and effort was spent on this machine. I have devoted many years, labour; thousands of dollars and searching worldwide for parts to get this car to where it is today. I have lost my shed due to a long relationship breakup and unable to continue working on it with residing in the city. I have recently decided to cut back on my projects / love for cars and will continue with this at a later stage in life. I purchased this car from a previous member (Paul) in Canberra for $12,500 after there was extensive work undertaken on the gearbox ($1,500) before sale. I cannot recall the exact repairs although I believe it was to be several bearings and seals. Mechanically the box is now perfect. My plan with this car was to produce the most perfect standard unmolested example of a rare piece of history that being 1 or 4 Series 2 RB autech's worldwide in pearl white. Thousands (receipts supplied) was spent with new parts from Nissan including all exterior trims, All new external badging, bumpers front & rear, rails, side skirts, rubber seals, interior plastics. I have 1 receipt attached to prove the value just in the exterior plastics/trims. I have searched high and low around the world to collect only the best undamaged, dashboards, interior plastics, new carpet, brand new internal boot plastics, dashboard surrounds List goes on and on. Underneath the car I have spent many months grinding back every single inch of the car and coating in $500 worth of the best POR 15 under body protection products from the USA (brown in the picks is the rust protection before the black por15 coat), fuel tank degreased / new hoses purchased, front knuckles powder coated painted / poly bushed / new wheel bearings / new tie rods / new white line brace & sitting on genuine nismo suspension imported from japan with 40,000 km on them, all new genuine clips for fuel lines, gear box links have has custom billet support / poly bushed / powder coated and stronger return spring added & new poly bushed sub frame. When I purchased the car the arches has small rust bubbles, this was the only item on the car that had any rust (I’m not kidding when I say I have been over the whole car). No expense was spared and had the car sent to the best in Sydney (Detroit custom bodyworks) who has them professionally repaired and sprayed ($1800). Currently the car has returned from a long period at the body works shop and all awaiting to be re assembled, quite an easy job if you have the time and space. I have everything for this car ready to be slotted back on. All the looms, engine etc is still connected it’s just the aesthetics of the car as this was required to be removed for the resto. I’m not going to say much more as I would be going on forever, although all questions can be asked. I will be adding to this list constantly as this was just a draft of the car sale. If I decide not to live in the UK next year and find additional storage with my new partner the car will be kept. This is just a quick opportunity to simplify my life at this current state.
