Can you imagine my surprise of breaking a OS GIKEN twin plate TS2B clutch.
Oh no, not good. From a twin plate it turned to a single plate Tore it to bits. This clutch plate was doing jack! Cracks visible in clutch plate around rivets holding hub to clutch plate, eventually leading to breakage like you see here.
Can you imagine my surprise of breaking a OS GIKEN twin plate TS2B clutch. Metal bent over from failed plate which contacted the good plate. This ring was caused from the bent metal of the failed plate. Same type of clutch removed from another GTI-R just before breaking
These clutch plates from OS GIKEN are the current design an look stronger. Sydney company making their own plates for the TS2B design.
